Short report

This year’s Annual International Conference of the Royal Geographical Society with the Institute of British Geographers (RGS with IBG) covered a topic that also concerns our Commission. Five speakers had announced their participation, four in person and one online. Ours was one of the first sessions on the first day of the conference, attracting a small audience of between 10 and 20 people. The papers roused also lively discussions. Since the topic is very vast, the various sessions covered a large field, including ordinary papers, workshops, panels and special sessions by the RGS study groups.

Also, the representative of our series’ publisher, Springer, Ms Evelien Bakker, was at the event, exposing our latest book. In particular, she expressed her interest at our intension to continue with our publications.
